Our FIRST Design Night Tonight!!

February 19, 2014

We are so incredibly excited to be hosting our first ever evening of socially conscious jewelry designing! We will be hosting 2 evenings of jewelry designing and if all goes well we will possibly be making this an annual event!

Global Wonders is a jewelry line created by the Servants Anonymous Foundation (SAF), a non-profit organization who’s main plight is to end human trafficking & sexual exploitation of women and children. The Global Wonders jewelry line was created to train and employ young women in both their Nepal & Vancouver recovery projects and imports approximately 6,000 pieces of products each year. 100% of net revenue is reinvested back into the work of the SA Foundation.

We are putting together our collections for the 2015 year and are looking for new & creative designs to complete our jewelry lines and would like the support of our local creative community. So we've invited local designers, artists and creatives to come and be a part of what we do at Global Wonders. All designs chosen as part of our jewelry line will be given credit to the designer, and any pieces that make it into our Lookbook will be given permission to use the professional images from our photo shoot in their online media. The evening will be an opportunity for these women to share their creative talents to shine and to design some pieces that we could produce for our line. This will also be a great night of networking & meeting local designers in our community and learning a little more about who SAF is and how Global Wonders works. We're looking forward to welcoming these women to our design space & show room, and ultimately our community!

Tonight is our first event and we couldn't be happier to meet other creatives in our community and partner with them in this unique and special way! May their be many more creative collaborations in our future - as we design jewels for a cause.

Each Bead Strung, every fiber woven is one more step away from a life of slavery!
